Tutorial
Ticket Auction Manager is meant to be installed on-site, where a penny social or benefit auction is hosted. It’s designed for the style of auction where guests buy tickets, then place them in a bag or container for each item they’re interested in. Then a random ticket is drawn from each item’s container, and the purchaser of that ticket wins the item.
Typical Layout
Even though it is designed to be able to run on a single computer if you don’t want or need to share data between computers. It can run in a network mode when you do need to share data.
Network mode is to only be used over LAN. I would not recommend using it over the internet/WAN.
Connecting entry laptops/computers to the LAN using a Wireless router or Access Point does work, but may be a bit less performant. At the very least hardwire the remote server or the laptop hosting the remote server containers.
The reference for network layout is below. IP addresses don’t matter much as long as you know what the LAN IP of the remote server is when you set up the clients.

Note
Since it’s difficult to design apps like Ticket Auction Manager to be easy to install, at least for now, the setup would be best tasked to someone who is somewhat tech savvy. So proceed with caution, knowing the very basics about Linux and Docker maybe necessary.
